![]() Many of Brainfoggles’ regular readers may be wondering exactly who I am and where has Connie gone? Today I wanted to fill you in on what is going on with Brainfoggles and give a long overdue introduction of myself. Never fear, Connie is still around, but she is dealing with some family issues at the moment that have taken her away for a few weeks. Connie often posts about her health issues and health issues of her family members. Unfortunately some of those health issues have taken a toll, and Connie needed to step away from Brainfoggles for a bit. She will be returning when life returns to a somewhat normal state. Connie and I became blogging buddies, so to speak, a few years ago when we were both beginning our blogging journeys. Over the last year I have been working as Connie’s Virtual Assistant and eventually began guest posting on Brainfoggles. Now my dear friend needs to concentrate on her family for a bit, so I have agreed to care for Brainfoggles as if it were my own baby in her absence. This means all posts will primarily be written by me over the next month and possibly longer. Once Connie returns I will continue to co-write when time allows. What should you know about me? Well, my name is Jenn, I’m in my 30s, and I’m just a simple southern gal from Upstate, SC. I live at the base of the Blue Ridge mountains with my wonderful husband, Ben, my 2 little girls, Ellie and Aubrey, our Olde English Bulldogge, Bubba, and our pony, Silver. As a SAHM, I spend most of my days chasing kids around the house and cleaning up messes. I love to write, craft, cook, or curl up with a good book during those few and far between chaos free moments. If I leave the house without the kids it’s almost always to ride a winding road on our Yamaha YZF600r or to hit up dirt roads and mud holes in the Chevy Duramax. I’m a 2 time Preeclampsia survivor, and I advocate for Preeclampsia awareness. May is Preeclampsia awareness month, and every woman who is pregnant or considering a pregnancy should know the signs and symptoms of this horrible disease that we still know so little about. You can read all about my little family and our life via my personal blog, Everyday Randomness. I want to thank Connie for trusting me to fill her shoes while she’s away. They are quite the shoes to fill, but I’ll try my best! If you have any questions or comments specifically for me feel free to leave a comment, and I’ll answer asap!
